I offer a grounded, integrative counselling approach that blends talk-based therapy with body-based (somatic) practices. Whether you’re working through anxiety, relationship challenges, depression, or a general sense of disconnection, our work together can help you find clarity, calm, and new perspective.

Healing is more than talking about problems. It’s about learning to recognize how your nervous system responds to life, how to regulate those responses, and how to reconnect with the deeper awareness within you.
Using a blend of person-centred therapy, somatic techniques, and mindfulness practices, we explore both what’s happening in your thoughts and in your body. From this place of awareness, real change can begin.

Elements of the Work I Do

Empathy
When we are seen and heard, when our feelings are validated, and when we understand that our experience is normal, healing has a chance to happen. As a deep, patient, attentive listener, I’m here to witness your story, reflect it back to you in new ways, and help you explore new possibilities you haven’t considered before.

Safety
Underneath our thoughts and emotions, our nervous system constantly strives for safety. This can be helpful, but often it means we don’t feel like we’re in control of our own experience. I help clients decode the subtle messages of the body. When we understand why our brains and bodies work the way they do, we can learn to speak our own inner language with a lot more ease.

Resources
Counselling is more than understanding what makes us tick. We’ll practice tools that you can use throughout your life. These include breathing, grounding exercises, reframing thoughts, emotional regulation, mindfulness, and many more techniques from a range of modalities. When we grow from the inside out, change is a lot more lasting.

Stress
Stress is this silent plague that affects us on every level, but we don’t often realize it. I help recognize and understand your stressors and gradually get a better handle on them.
Depression
Depression feels like your whole being is shutting down, and doing anything about it can feel impossible. I’ve been there myself, and bring a range of tools and approaches that can help you find your way out of the forest.
Anxiety
Like stress, anxiety is another often silent challenge that can work in the background until it crashes our system. I’m here to help guide you through and out of your anxiety, into a life that doesn’t feel so on edge.
Relationships
I have experience in monogamous, open, and polyamorous relationships, both long and short term, casual dating and marriage, long distance and living together. I’m here to share the tools you need to navigate your own challenging relationship(s).
Codependency
For anyone close to a person with an addiction, codependency operates in the background, muddying relationships and boundaries, making life incredibly confusing. After working through my own codependent challenges, I’m here to help you walk through yours.
